匀加速电荷为何不发生辐射

摘要
我们表明,在匀加速电荷的瞬时静止系中,仅存在径向电场,因为加速度场在各距离处都被速度场的横向项奇异地抵消。因此,任何观测者都不会从匀加速电荷探测到电磁辐射,即便在远区亦然。这与Larmor公式相矛盾,依该公式匀加速电荷将以恒定速率辐射功率,且与加速度平方成正比。另一方面,此类电荷无辐射与强等效原理一致,其中匀加速电荷等价于永久静止于引力场中的电荷,而如此完全时间静态的系统根本不可能辐射功率。
