纠缠双奇异重子级联衰变中的弱相与CP对称性检验

摘要

利用在电子-正电子对撞机BEPCII上BESIII探测器收集的 1.31×1091.31\times10^9J/ψJ/\psi 事例样本,我们分析了完整的 J/ψJ/\psi \to ΞΞ+\Xi^-\overline{\Xi}^+, ΞΛπ\Xi^-\to \Lambda \pi^-, Λpπ\Lambda\to p\pi^-, Ξ+Λπ+\overline{\Xi}^+\to\overline{\Lambda}\pi^+, Λpπ+\overline{\Lambda}\to\overline{p}\pi^+ 衰变链。一种利用 ΞΞ+\Xi^-\overline{\Xi}^+ 对纠缠且级联衰变、并重建完整衰变链的新方法被首次应用。这使得对 ΞΛπ\Xi^-\to\Lambda\pi^- 衰变(αΞ\alpha_{\Xi}, ϕΞ\phi_{\Xi})以及 Ξ+Λπ+\overline{\Xi}^+\to\overline{\Lambda}\pi^+ 衰变(αΞ\overline{\alpha}_{\Xi}, ϕΞ\overline{\phi}_{\Xi})的衰变参数进行精确测量成为可能。由衰变参数出发,进行了两项独立的CP检验,由可观测量 ACPΞA_{\rm CP}^{\Xi}ΔϕΞ\Delta \phi_\Xi 量化。我们的结果 ACPΞA_{\rm CP}^{\Xi} = (6.0±13.4±5.6)×103(6.0\pm13.4\pm5.6)\times10^{-3}ΔϕΞ=(4.8±13.7±2.9)×103 rad\Delta \phi_\Xi= (-4.8\pm13.7\pm2.9)\times10^{-3}~{\rm rad} 与CP对称性一致。此外,我们的方法可分离 ΞΛπ\Xi\to\Lambda\pi 衰变的强振幅与弱振幅,从而得到任何重子衰变弱相位差的首次直接测量。结果为 (ξPξS)=(1.2±3.4±0.8)×102(\xi_{P} - \xi_{S}) = (1.2\pm3.4\pm0.8)\times10^{-2} rad,且是对于奇异重子最精确的CP对称性检验之一。强相位差测得为 (δPδS)=(4.0±3.3±1.7)×102(\delta_P - \delta_S) = (-4.0\pm3.3\pm1.7)\times10^{-2} rad。另外,我们提供了近期有争议的 Λ\Lambda 衰变参数 αΛ=0.757±0.011±0.008\alpha_{\Lambda} = 0.757 \pm 0.011 \pm 0.008 的独立测量。ΛΛ\Lambda\overline{\Lambda} 不对称性测得为 ACPΛ=(3.7±11.7±9.0)×103A_{\rm CP}^{\Lambda} = (-3.7\pm11.7\pm9.0)\times10^{-3}
