在引力常数呈尺度依存性的模型中，针对弱引力透镜和剪切的预测基本与广义相对论相似。这与近期对MS1224、CL2218和A1689系统观测结果相符，这些结果旨在推断是否存在暗物质。然而，当涉及基于宇宙维里定理的分析时，情况则截然不同。
