光子晶体中表面态的波导特性

摘要
我们提出并分析了带隙光子晶体中基于表面态的新型波导。我们讨论了表面模带结构、场局域化以及缺陷对表面模波导特性的影响。我们证明了基于表面态的波导可用于实现波导的方向性发射。我们还讨论了表面态波导作为传统光子晶体波导高效光耦合器的应用。
