强子对撞机上的W和Z玻色子产生

摘要
电弱理论已经过高精度检验，测量已在圈图水平上探测了其预言。当前一代的粒子加速器将通过强子碰撞产生足够多的W和Z玻色子，从而显著提高这些测量的精度。我回顾了与这种产生相关的问题，特别强调了W玻色子质量的相关不确定度，目前该质量在Tevatron上的测量精度已经高于大型正负电子对撞机。
