VLBI 对 Mkn 501 与 Mkn 421 的观测

本文报告了对 BL-Lac 型天体 Mkn 501 的两个时段的 18 cm 波段空中 VLBI 观测。凭借这些新数据的高分辨率，我们发现内侧喷流在起始处呈中心亮化，但在距核心约 8 毫弧秒处变得延伸并呈 limb 亮化。此外，两个时段的对比显示存在一种可能的适当运动，具有显现速度为 6.7c。同时还报告了对 Mkn 421 这一 BL-Lac 型天体在 6 和 18 cm 波段的 VLBI 数据。观测数据用于约束喷流的速度和取向。
