PSR B1951+32的高能观测

摘要

PSR B1951+32是由Energetic Gamma Ray Experiment Telescope (EGRET)检测到的一颗γ射线脉冲星,并与39.5 ms脉冲星相匹配后者位于超新星遗骸CTB 80中。EGRET数据显示无谱线转折证据。本文报告了对PSR B1951+32在30 GeV以上首次观测结果。观测于亚利桑那州Mt. Hopkins的Whipple天文台10米γ射线望远镜完成。在8.1小时的观测中,我们未发现PSR B1951+32在约260 GeV以上稳定或周期发射的证据。推导出通量上限并与低能模型外推及辐射模型预测进行比较。
