迄今为止，仅有三个对象被确立为北天天球上的高能 gamma 射线源：一个环形天体——Crab 星云，以及两个 blazar——Markarian 501 和 Markarian 421。本文综述了这些来源通过 CAT 大气 Cherenkov 成像望远镜所获得的最显著结果。
