摘要
简要讨论了变星研究的现状，包括晕族和球状星团变星，以及晕族运动学和宇宙距离尺度的现代问题。我提出了一种计算投影因子(PF)的新方法，该方法考虑了投影因子随临边昏暗、光球速度和用于径向速度测量的光谱仪固有线宽的变化。给出了PF的简单解析近似，可用于通过Baade-Wesselink-Balona技术估算脉动变星的半径。
