颜色-星等图中的变异性形态：搜寻长期变星

本研究是大规模巡天中通过分析长期变星在颜色-星等图中的路径来探测此类天体工作的一部分。为此，我们首先展示了多种类型变星在V/V-I图中的变异性形态。这些变星包括来自大麦哲伦云中的周期性和非周期性变星，例如经典造父变星、长周期变星或Be星和北冕座R型星，以及银河系中探测到的两颗长期变星：FG Sge和V4334 Sgr。对不同变异性形态的研究有助于识别颜色-星等图中可能探测到这些长期变星的区域。我们还估算了在大麦哲伦云中预期存在的此类长期变星的数量。
