LHCb 合作组在 7 和 8 TeV 的 pp 碰撞中对 Υ(nS) 极化性的测量

本文给出了在 √s = 7 和 8 TeV 的 pp 碰撞中产生的 Υ(1S)、Υ(2S) 和 Υ(3S) 介子的极化测量。用于极化测量的数据样本由 LHCb 实验在 2011 和 2012 年取数运行期间收集，其积分亮度分别为 1 和 2 fb⁻¹。该测量在三个极化参考系中进行，利用 Υ → μ⁺μ⁻ 衰变的角度分布分析，运动学区域为 Υ 横向动量 p_T^Υ < 30 GeV/c 和快度 2.2 < y^Υ < 4.5。未观测到明显的极化现象。
