由极化冷中子俘获在复合核中宇称破坏γ射线不对称性的上限

摘要

复合核电磁衰变中的宇称奇不对称性有时会因复合核态的复杂性而被放大到简单量纲估计预期值之上。在本工作中,我们采用统计方法估算在冷极化中子于 Al、Cu 和 In 上俘获产生的积分γ谱中预期的宇称奇关联 snkγ\vec{s_{n}} \cdot \vec{k_{\gamma}} 分布的根均方(RMS),其中 sn\vec {s_{n}} 为中子自旋、kγ\vec{k_{\gamma}} 为γ动量,并给出在这些及其他核上不对称性的测量结果。基于我们的计算,对所研究核未预言不对称性的大幅增强,且统计估计与我们所测不对称性的上限一致。
