摘要

我们指出，对于所有已知的由相对论瞬态流体力学描述的系统，只要能够从第一性原理计算某些流体力学输运系数的比值，其声速平方存在一个上限 $c_s^2 \leq 0.781$ 。假设该上限对超密物质成立，则意味着孤立（非旋转）中子星的最大质量不可能超过 2.7 倍太阳质量。
