利用完整 CDF 数据集在含喷注与 Missing Transverse Energy 事件中对标准模型 Higgs 玻色子的更新搜索

摘要

我们给出了在含 Missing Transverse Energy 与两个喷注的末态中,对伴随矢量玻色子产生的 Higgs 玻色子的更新搜索。我们使用了完整的 CDF 数据集,对应于质子-反质子质心能量 s=1.96\sqrt{s}=1.96 TeV 下 9.45 fb1{}^{-1} 的积分亮度。本分析的新颖之处在于引入了专门针对 HbbˉH\to b\bar{b} 搜索优化的 bb-喷注识别算法。在 Higgs 玻色子质量范围 90mH15090 \le m_H \le 150 GeV/c2/c^2 内,VHV H 产生截面乘以 HbbˉH\to b\bar{b} 分支比的预期 95% 置信度上限较先前分析平均改善了 14%。在 Higgs 玻色子质量为 125 GeV/c2/c^2 处,观测(预期)上限为标准模型预测的 3.06 (3.33) 倍,对应于迄今为止该末态中最灵敏的搜索之一。
