通过光谱学揭示三颗INTEGRAL源的本质

摘要

presented the results of an optical spectroscopy campaign performed at the Astronomical Observatory of Bologna in Loiano (Italy) on three hard X-ray sources detected by INTEGRAL (IGR J17303-0601, IGR J18027-1455 and IGR J21247+5058)。这些数据允许我们确定其中两颗星的性质:IGR J17303-0601为银河中的一颗低质量X射线二元星,IGR J18027-1455为一颗红移z = 0.035的背景类型1星系。相反,IGR J21247+5058呈现出相当令人困惑的光谱特征,伴随一段较宽、红移的H_alpha复合体叠加在“正常”F/G型银河星连续光谱之上:这些特征以及空间上重合的延伸射电信号,可能暗示一颗相对靠近的恒星与一颗背景射电星系之间发生偶然重合。这一结果凸显了小型望远镜在现代天文学中仍然不容小觑的重要性。
