摘要
“生物学研究的每一个对象都是一个系统的系统。”（François Jacob, 1974）。大多数网络具有源于修补的复杂架构，即对现有组件的重复使用，其中结构并非被发明而是被重塑。然而，将原始组件的属性与复合网络的涌现行为联系起来仍然是一个关键的开放性挑战。在这里，通过组合标度不变网络，我们展示了修补如何解耦Fiedler维度和谱维度（此前被认为相同），为介观和宏观集体态提供了有价值的见解。
