摘要
同核异能素是普遍存在的相对长寿命的核激发态,在核物理中起着至关重要的作用。然而,由于缺乏合适的测量方法,半衰期在几秒或更短的同核异能素几乎没有实验截面数据。我们报告了一种利用激光驱动超强γ射线对光核反应中超短寿命同核异能素进行在线γ能谱测量的方法。最快时间分辨率可达亚皮秒级,γ射线强度>10^19/秒(≥8 MeV)。首次在高能区测量了^115In(γ,n)^114m2In反应(T_{1/2}=43.1 ms),这为铟元素的核结构研究提供了启示。模拟表明,这将是研究^229mTh(T_{1/2}=7 μs)的有效方法,后者被认为是下一代核钟。这项工作为深入了解超短寿命提供了独特途径,并有望有效填补相关实验数据的空白。
