LUNA 用于核天体物理的超灵敏在束伽马射线谱学

摘要

用于核天体物理的超灵敏在束伽马射线谱学研究在意大利大萨索实验室地下深处的 LUNA(地下核天体物理实验室)400 kV 加速器上进行。凭借专门构建的无源屏蔽,LUNA 在 Eγ<3E_\gamma < 3 MeV 范围内的实验室伽马射线本底已降至与专用的离线地下伽马计数装置相当的水平。我们研究了入射阿尔法束诱发的伽马射线本底。这些数据被用于评估在 LUNA 以及推而广之在类似拟建设施中进行灵敏在束实验的可行性。
