利用质子与铅 LHC 束流在固定靶模式下研究超周边碰撞

摘要

我们探讨了在 LHC 固定靶模式下研究超周边 pH、pPb、PbH 和 PbPb 碰撞相关的物理案例。特别地,我们讨论了如何利用横向极化的氢靶,在排他性 J/psi 光生过程中测量胶子广义部分子分布 E_g(x,xi,t)。
