微类星V4641 Sgr周围的超高能伽马气泡

摘要

微类星是研究由吸积 onto旋转黑洞产生的相对粒子喷流的实验室。微类星距离较近, 可实现对其在多波段谱中空间特征的详细成像。最近的研究将SS 433的空间形态扩展至TeV gamma射线, 定位了喷流远离黑洞处电子加速的机制。我们报告来自另一微类星V4641~Sgr的TeV gamma射线, 揭示了类似SS~433一样在黑洞附近进行粒子加速。此外, V4641的gamma射线谱是已知任何已知gamma射线源中最硬的TeV谱, 可检测至200 TeV。gamma射线由更高能量的电子或质子产生。由于电子能量越高, 能量损失越快, 因此该谱要么强烈约束了电子生产机制, 要么指向高能质子的加速。此观察表明, 微类星的大尺度喷流可能比此前预期的更常见, 微类星可能是银河宇宙粒子的重要来源。高能gamma射线还为对超大质量黑洞和相对喷流的准双星产生的额外银河宇宙粒子加速机制提供了独特约束。由于距离, 银河系外的gamma射线成像研究受限, 由于角分辨率不足以及最高能gamma射线被外部背景光衰减。
