我们将讨论超高能宇宙线物理的主要相关方面。在简要回顾实验证据之后，我们将评述旨在描述这些极高能粒子源的理论模型，从而开启观测最高能宇宙的一扇窗口。我们将讨论次级粒子的产生，以及超高能宇宙线可能提供的新物理检验。
