经典T Tauri星TW Hya二十五年吸积研究

摘要

吸积在原行星盘演化与消散所遵循的物理中起着核心作用。本文的主要目标是分析最近邻吸积太阳质量年轻星TW Hya的质量吸积率随时间的稳定性。我们在TW Hya的1169份存档高分辨率光学谱(1998–2022年获取)中测量了 veil(veiling,谱线填充) across the optical spectrum。随后利用覆盖Balmer跳变的26份流量定标谱将veiling转换为吸积率。由 excess continuum 测得的吸积率平均为 2.51×1092.51\times10^{-9}~M_\odot~yr1^{-1},呈高斯分布,FWHM为0.22 dex。由于热辐射改正的不确定性,该吸积率可能被低估至多1.5倍,另因未计入以谱线(尤其是Lyα\alpha)形式逃出的吸积能量份额而再低估1.7倍。吸积光度与He线光度相关性良好,但与Hα\alpha和Hβ\beta光度相关性差。吸积率在数小时尺度上始终闪烁,但在更长时标上25年来保持稳定。这种变率水平与多数(而非全部)吸积年轻星的以往测量一致。
