超高能观测载荷(PUEO)球载中微子探测器的触发系统

摘要

超高能观测载荷(PUEO)是一种 NASA 球载仪器,用于通过 Askaryan 效应或上行簇射的地磁辐射探测能量高于 1017.5 eV10^{17.5}~\textrm{eV} 的超高能(UHE)中微子。PUEO 的主仪器触发系统是一个全数字超采样率波束形成器,基于 24 个 Xilinx 射频片上系统(RFSoC)数字化仪,采样 192 个通道,工作频率为 3 GSa/s3~\textrm{GSa/s},系统时钟频率为 375 MHz375~\textrm{MHz}。该触发系统实现了频段调节、动态射频干扰(RFI)抑制和匹配滤波,重点在于在保持灵敏度的同时进行优化以降低功耗和资源使用。该系统实现了总共 48 个合成天线波束,每个波束最多包含 8 个天线,覆盖天顶角约 2525^\circ 和方位角约 6060^\circ 的范围。飞行前测试表明,在使用模拟信号时,触发性能达到约 1.5 的最小信噪比(SNR),同时触发逻辑的功耗在 57 W5-7~\textrm{W} 之间。
