室女座星系团前方星系的TRGB距离

摘要
从哈勃空间望远镜图像获得了位于室女座星系团(Virgo Cluster)前方的16个星系的红巨星支顶端(Tip of the red giant branch, TRGB)距离。具有5%精度的新距离，结合存档测量，严格约束了落入室女座星系团起始位置的近侧为距星系团 Mpc，并延伸至距银河系9 Mpc以内。该星系团此回转半径内的质量为 Msun。给出了研究中星系的颜色-星等图，并简要讨论了它们的群归属。
