相对论性重离子碰撞中双强子关联的产额与方位角形状修正趋势

摘要

由硬散射产生并嵌入大原子核碰撞中的快速部分子探针表明,部分子会遭受巨大的能量损失,且产生的介质可能对损失的能量产生集体响应。我们测量了在sqrt(s_NN) = 200 GeV的Au+Au和p+p碰撞中,中心快度区横动量p^t_T = 4-12 GeV/c的中性π触发粒子与关联带电强子(p^a_T = 0.5-7 GeV/c)作为相对方位角Delta Phi的函数。这些数据带来了两个主要发现。首先,低动量强子的相对角分布(其形状修正曾被解释为介质对部分子能量损失的响应)仅在p^t_T < 7 GeV/c时发生修正。在更高p^t_T下,即使对于测量的最低p^a_T,数据也与未修正或极弱修正的形状一致。这一观测对介质响应情景提出了定量挑战。其次,在Au+Au中相对于p+p中触发粒子对侧的关联产额(I_AA)在大动量下受到抑制(IAA ~ 0.35-0.5),但抑制程度小于单粒子核修正因子(R_AA ~0.2)。
