摘要
我们在此介绍一台名为TRAPPIST（凌星行星与星子小望远镜）的新型机器人望远镜。该望远镜配备了一个安装在0.6米轻量光学镜筒上的高质量CCD相机，于2010年4月在智利ESO拉西拉天文台安装，目前正开始其科学计划。TRAPPIST的科学目标是通过两种途径研究行星系统：探测和研究系外行星，以及研究彗星。我们在此描述了项目的目标、硬件，并展示了在调试阶段获得的一些初步结果。
