静电离子束陷阱中储存离子的横向运动学

摘要
我们给出了静电离子束陷阱中储存离子的横向速度分布的实验结果以及数值模拟。测量表明，横向速度展宽约为纵向速度的 1%，且离子填满了整个横向稳定相空间。我们还证明，由于与残余气体分子的多次散射导致的离子从陷阱中的损失是限制束流寿命的一个重要因素。
