激光驱动电容线圈靶提供了一种紧凑的平台用于产生强磁场,广泛应用于磁化高能密度等离子体实验。除了磁场生成,这些靶还产生线圈区域的等离子体,这可能影响相关的物理过程,与次级靶或外部等离子体进行相互作用。在这些应用中,对线圈周围等离子体的直接、时分辨测量仍有限。本文报道了利用大阪大学 LFEX 激光照射的激光驱动电容线圈靶的等离子体密度演化的干涉测量。二维电子密度图揭示了两个不同的等离子体来源加载线圈区域:由线圈本身产生的等离子体以及由靶板激光剧烈作用产生的等离子体。这些结果为等离子体加载和演化提供了定量信息,directly relevant to the design and modeling of magnetized high-energy-density plasma experiments。
