用于伽马束核天体物理研究的时投影室(TPC)探测器

摘要

美国 HIgS 设施中的伽马束以及正在罗马尼亚建设的 ELI-NP 设施中预期的伽马束,为推进核天体物理研究提供了独特的新机遇;其中不乏通过精确测量 12C(a,g) 反应来解决恒星氦燃烧过程中氧形成开放性问题的重要机会。以低压气体运行(作为主动靶)的时投影室(TPC)探测器非常适合于此类研究。我们回顾了当前研究计划的进展,以及 HIγS 设施利用光学读出 TPC(O-TPC)的未来规划,和针对 ELI-NP 设施开发电子读出 TPC(ELITPC)的情况。
