利用WISE/NEOWISE识别出十三个新的M矮星+T矮星对

我们报告了利用WISE/NEOWISE数据,通过CatWISE和Backyard Worlds: Planet 9项目发现的13个新的宽距分离的T矮星伴星,它们围绕M矮星主星运行。这个样本使已知的M+T系统数量增加了约60%,并使我们能够探测双星/行星系统形成的最极端产物,这是CatWISE2020星表和Backyard Worlds: Planet 9项目所开辟的发现空间。样本中的亮点包括:WISEP J075108.79-763449.6,一个先前已知的T9矮星,其SED表明它年龄较大,现在我们发现它与L 34-26 A(一颗距离太阳10 pc内、经过充分研究的年轻M3 V星)构成一个共同自行对;CWISE J054129.32-745021.5 B和2MASS J05581644-4501559 B,两个T8矮星,可能与快速自转的M4 V星CWISE J054129.32-745021.5 A和2MASS J05581644-4501559 A有关联;以及UCAC3 52-1038 B,它是主序星周围最宽的晚期T型伴星之一,投影分离距离约为7100 au。这里提出的新基准是JWST的主要目标,可以帮助我们对亚恒星天体的形成和演化理论以及这些冷系外行星类似物的大气模型施加强有力的约束。
