从理论角度回顾了伽马射线暴现象，重点讨论了瞬时辐射和较长波长远后光的火球激波模型。讨论了最近的进展和问题，包括光谱-时间演化、定位、喷流、谱线、环境和宇宙学方面，以及未来在电磁和非电磁通道实验的一些展望。
