超软X射线源CAL 83的X射线停滞状态及其解释

我们考虑在CAL83最近一次X射线关闭期间获得的同步光学数据。将光学行为与观察到的X射线衰减时间相结合，我们表明，如果白矣星质量足够大，则停止稳态核燃烧的模型是可行的。我们的模型为随后超软X射线辐射的返回提供了自然的解释。
