虽然利用 Spitzer Space Telescope 对 young stellar objects (YSOs) 的搜索集中于已知的 molecular clouds，但来自 Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer (WISE) 的测光数据可用于将搜索扩展至整个天空。作为更广泛搜索的先导，我们给出了以 Canis Major clouds 为中心、面积 100 square degree 区域的结果。
