织女星碎片盘:赫歇尔视角

摘要

我们展示了利用赫歇尔空间天文台获取的织女星碎片盘的五波段成像数据。这些数据覆盖了 70-500 微米的波长范围,半高全宽角分辨率为 5.6-36.9 角秒。该盘在所有波段均被良好分辨,在 70 和 160 微米处可见环状结构。我们生成了盘面亮度径向轮廓,并确定了盘半径为 11 角秒(约 85 天文单位)。在整个波长范围内,该盘呈现出平滑结构,表明该盘处于稳态,而非由近期两个大星子碰撞产生的短暂结构。
