V1647 Ori (IRAS 05436-0007)原星及其环境

我们报告了对V1647 Ori原星及其围绕NGC 2068的场的Sloan Digital Sky Survey和United States Naval Observatory观测。V1647 Ori是HH 23的可能驱动源，在2003年11月显著亮了。分析在1998年11月和2002年2月期间SDSS影像 acquired在静止状态下，最近的USNO光度测量，和已发表的2MASS和Gemini数据显示，亮度变化所致的颜色变化建议这是一个EXor外burst而非简单的尘埃消除事件。
