磁致伸缩的真正原因

摘要
通过分析 Fe 多畴晶体中的这一现象，揭示了磁致伸缩的成因。它基于两个基本事实：(a) 磁化是通过晶体结构重排实现自旋重排，以及 (b) -Fe 具有四方结构而非立方结构。磁致伸缩源于较短的四方轴与外加磁场方向重合或趋近于该方向。它并非根源于所谓晶体晶胞的形变。
