我们展示了从一个 MUNICS 场域中挑选的 EROs 样本（K'<19.5 mag）进行的 75 ksec XMM-Newton 观测分析结果。我们发现 6 个 EROs 具有 X 射线对齐物，下限为约 10^{-15} cgs 的 2--10 keV fluxes。就所有这些对象而言，X射线-光学 flux 比以及 2--10 keV 恒星质量暗示存在 AGN。特别是，完整的 X射线光谱分析显示，高亮度、被遮蔽的 AGN（即 QSO2 候选者）在其中 3 个中存在。
