我们采用 gamma 射线暴 (GRBs) 及其后glow (AGs) 的简单且成功的 Cannonball (CB) 模型，对相对靠近的 GRB 020405 的弱光后glow 进行分析。我们指出，GRB 020405 被关联到一个类 1998bw 超新星 (SN)，其红移与 GRB 一致。由于宿主星系和我们星系中的消光，该 SN 比 1998bw 更暗更红。CB 模型中 advocated 的 SN/GRB 关联案例正变得日益确凿。我们讨论了 GRB/SN 关联的程度及其模型依赖性。
