摘要
High Energy Stereoscopic System (H.E.S.S.) 是由四台总镜像面积为 107 m^2 的成像克雷默光学望远镜组成的系统，这些望远镜正在 Namibia 科莫阿斯高原（海拔 1800 米）建造中。H.E.S.S. 系统以低阈值（~ 100 GeV）和 ~1% Crab flux灵敏度为特征，这得益于立体技术提供的良好角分辨率和背景抑制。前两台望远镜已投入使用，报告首次结果。H.E.S.S. 阶段 I 的剩余两台望远镜将于 2004 年初完善。
