摘要
粒子物理学已经发展出一个连贯的模型，在最基本的层面上表征了力与粒子。这个由许多理论与实验研究构建的标准模型，与几乎所有当前数据高度吻合。然而，有许多迹象表明它仅仅是一个更基础理论的近似。我们追溯了标准模型的发展，并指出了相信它不完整的原因。
