中介偏振星的自转周期历史

摘要

我们报告了五颗中介偏振星(DQ Herculis、AO Piscium、FO Aquarii、V1223 Sagittarii 和 BG Canis Minoris)自最初发现以来30-60年间的自转周期变化详细历史。大多数在缓慢自转加快,尽管有时会出现长达数年的自转减慢时段。这支持了 underlying 磁性白矮星接近自转平衡的观点。除了约40颗具有许多共同性质并以强脉冲X射线辐射为定义的恒星外,还有少数自转快得多(P<80 s)的恒星,它们是否属于该类仍存疑——且早该进行更仔细的研究了。
