INTEGRAL IBIS 所见银河背后的天空

在核心计划期间，INTEGRAL 对银河背后的天空进行了大范围调查（约9000平方度）；尽管 INTEGRAL 并非为外银河研究优化，但其观测仍为我们提供了探索银河背后天空的机会，这在某些波段由于强吸收而无法实现。本文介绍了这些探索的初步结果并与射出前预期进行比较。特别是，我们详细描述了迄今为止获得的所有外银河探测：10个活跃星系和一个星系团。其中许多源已在 10-20 keV 以上的能量处被研究，少数为新的硬 X 射线发现。由于探测数目小于基于 IBIS/ISGRI 灵敏度估计的数目，可能有一些在本次调查中发现的新 ISGRI 源是外银河天体；其中一些很可能是 AGN，并被详细描述。
