GRB 060218/SN 2006aj 冲击破裂现象

摘要

尽管长型伽玛射线暴(GRB)与超新星(SN)之间的关联已被确立,但迄今为止尚无对超新星爆发初始阶段及其与GRB密切关联的观测。特别是,我们并不了解GRB喷流如何从恒星表面喷出,或GRB祊星如何爆发。本文报告我们对近距离GRB060218及其与SN2006aj关联的观测。除了经典的非热辐射外,GRB060218的X射线光谱中还显示出热成分,其随时间 cooling 并向光学/紫外波段位移。我们将这些特征解释为:由轻度相对论壳体在祊星周围致密风中驱动的冲击波破裂所致。我们的观测使我们首次看到一颗正在爆炸的超新星,直接观测到冲击破裂,并提供了强有力的证据表明GRB祊星为温暖星(Wolf-Rayet star)。
