GLAST LAT 合作组是众多探寻暗物质本质研究方中之一。GLAST LAT 拥有独特能力，能够发现来自宇宙中WIMP湮灭的高能伽马射线新源。凭借其宽带光谱和全天球空间能力，GLAST LAT 可对暗物质亚结构在伽马射线天空中的形象进行“成像”。我们描述了使用 GLAST LAT 探测银沼系暗物质卫星的间接方法的初步可行性研究。
