M54 与 Sgr 小星系的 RR Lyrae 变星

我们报告了对 M54 这一全球星团的新的 B、V 和 I 型 CCD 光度测量，旨在研究其可变星。相对于 M54 之前最新的工作，我们几乎翻倍了检测到的可变星数量：M54 现在可以被分类为 Oosterhoff 族群中的中间类型。从红巨星星 population 中获得了该星团和 Sgr dSph 场的金属分布，并从变星中获得金属值。
