摘要
QUAX (QUaerere AXion)提案旨在利用宇宙轴子与磁化样品中电子自旋的相互作用。其效应等效于施加一个振荡射频场,其频率和振幅分别由轴子质量和耦合常数确定。QUAX探测器的射频接收模块由磁化样品构成,其拉莫尔共振频率通过极化静磁场调谐至轴子质量。电子与等效轴子射频场的相互作用在样品的总磁化强度中产生振荡。为了放大如此微弱的场,在相同频率下施加一个与极化场方向正交的泵浦场。沿极化场方向的感应振荡磁化由工作在其量子噪声极限的SQUID放大器测量。
