反物质引发聚变与热核爆炸的物理机制

摘要

本研究探讨利用反氢点燃惯性约束聚变靶丸或触发大规模热核爆炸的可能性。发现在DT或Li_2DT中启动热核燃烧波所需的反质子湮灭数约为10^{21}/k^2,其中k为待点火燃料的压缩因子。我们得出结论:产生如此数量反质子所需的财政与能量投入,将使反物质触发热核装置的应用局限于军事领域。
