异常型Ia型超新星SN 2005hk:是否存在某些Ia型超新星以爆发方式爆发?

我们对SN 2005hk进行了广泛的u'g'r'i'BVRIYJHKs光度测量和光谱观测。这些数据揭示,SN 2005hk在观察属性上几乎与被称为"已知最异常的Ia型超新星"的SN 2002cx几乎相同。两种超新星均展现出类似于SN 1991T的高电离 pre-maximum 光谱,却具有类似于SN 1991bg的低峰值亮度。光谱显示,SN 2005hk和SN 2002cx的膨胀速度约为典型Ia型超新星的一半。两种超新星的R和I光度曲线也呈现异常,未显示出正常Ia型超新星所常见的二次峰。我们的YJH光度测量揭示了SN 2005hk在近红外波段的相同异常。通过将我们的光学和近红外光度测量与使用Swift卫星获得的已发布紫外光度曲线相结合,我们能够构建从B峰值前约10天到B峰值后约60天的全辐射光度曲线。该光度曲线的形状和异常低的峰值亮度,加上低的膨胀速度以及在红色和近红外波段未显示二次峰,均与产生约0.25个太阳质量56Ni的3D爆发模型计算结果在合理范围内吻合。
