银河系的外缘旋转曲线

摘要
对银河系圆速度曲线 v_c(R) 的直接确定性表明，近 Sun 处，v_c 随 R 约线性上升。如果此结果正确，银河系质量密度在 R ~> R0 处必须独立于半径。我们指出，若真实的圆速度曲线在 R0 < R ~< 2 R0 处约为常数或轻微下降，而大多数看似位于 R ~> 1.25 R0 的轨迹实际上集中在约 1.6 R0 半径的环中，则可自然解释 v_c 中 apparent 线性上升的现象。
