银河演化探测器的轨道性能

摘要

我们报告了银河演化探测器(GALEX)在轨道上第一年的性能结果。GALEX是一枚NASA小型探测器,正在对天空进行两个紫外波段的观测。该仪器包括一台直径50厘米的改进型Ritchey-Chretien望远镜,视场为1.25度,可选用的成像和目标光谱仪模式,以及创新的光学系统,采用薄膜多层色片分束器,使两组光子计数、微通道板延迟线读出探测器能够同时成像。初始测量表明,GALEX的性能良好,满足了分辨率、效率、测星定位、波段定义和观测灵敏度的所有要求。
